Hank Keneally
Hank Keneally

Hank Keneally and his late wife, Mac, moved to the desert north of Phoenix, Arizona in 1976. “It is far from the maddening crowd and a wonderful place to create art.”
Since retiring from his career in counseling, Hank now devotes himself exclusively to being a full-time artist. “I prefer to say I haven't worked since 1978 although I've been playing seriously and getting paid for it ever since.”
Hank began photographing in 1965 and he initially worked with a large format view camera. He now creates exclusively with digital technology. Hank took up painting in 1993 and was introduced to the creation of digital art in 2004. Today, his primary mission as an artist is the seamless integration of his own digital imagery, photography and painting, and he is engaged in creating several ongoing series. As he puts it, “That's how I keep my work alive.”
Recently Hank published the first book on his art, WALLESCAPES, based on his photography of walls throughout the state of Arizona. He exhibits in group shows and the last two years he has had large Solo Exhibitions and continues to plan for future solo events. Additionally, he has exhibited his works nationally and his art can be found in many collections and several installations.
